He was predeceased by : his parents, Julio Colon and Miguelina Serrano; and his sisters, Rosa and Brenda. He is survived by : his wife Dawn Legg Colon; his children, Miguel A. Colon Jose Colon (Sandra Bernard), Julio Colon (Sandra Torres), Mae Estrada (Luis), Brandy Sim (Mike) and Jody Woodard (Chuck); his siblings, Anita, Carlos and Haydee; and his grandchildren, Miguel A Colon, Angel X Colon, Christian X Colon, Angelina Brown, Nachaly Colon, Josephine Hull, Christian Colon, Stephanie Colon, Giovanni Colon, Luis Estrada, Arionna Schubert, Emillio Estrada, Isabella Estrada, Cassandra Alvarez, Miguel Alvarez, Cameron Woodard and Tate Woodard. He is also survived by many great grandchildren, brother and sister in-laws, nieces, nephews, and extended family as well as many close friends.
