He was predeceased by : his brother Thomas Swartz. He is survived by : his sons, Carter Lee Sale and Maddox Grey Sale; the parents of children, Jessica Hanks and Kasie Yanke; and his siblings, Crystal Sale (Greg Amyot), John Disibio (Tamara Disibio), Anthony Disibio, Alisha Sale and Jason Sale.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Partnership to end addiction, an organization the family felt strongly about.
