She was predeceased by : her mother Irene Mayhew Hanley; her husband Robert C. Mecier; her brother Conrad R Newman; her stepgrandson Eric Currier; and her aunt Rita Dennis.

She is survived by : her sons, Paul R Mecier of Cohoes and Bruce A Mecier (Kathleen) of Saratoga Springs; her stepgrandchildren, Stephen and Tina Currier; her cousin Virginia Hanson; and her sister-in-law Nita Newman.
