He is survived by: his siblings, Betty, Joseph and Alberta Counterman; and his children, Michael, Tammy, Steven, Roseanna and Emily Counterman.

In lieu of flowers Jack requested donations be made in his memory to the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York.
