He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvatore Nicastro and Rosa DiBella Nicastro; and his siblings, Anita Tropea, Anna Catalfamo, Mary Napoletan, Carmella Mirabile, Joseph, Dominic and Anthony Catalfamo.
He is survived by: his wife Angie; his children, Michael Nicastro (Joanna), David Nicastro (JoAnn), Michele Lesniak (Robert) and Paul Nicastro (Debra); his grandchildren, Christina LeMorta (Mark), Deanna Witte (Justin), Michael Nicastro (Kirsten), Sam Nicastro (Erik), Grace Nicastro (Brendon), Sophia Nicastro (Will), Sawyer Nicastro, Viviana Nicastro, Cooper Nicastro, Keri Yanez (Miquel), Dana Lesniak (Tim), Kyle Lesniak (Meg), Casey, Gabriela, Isabella and Mateo Caprini; and his great grandchildren, Luke, Brooks Witte, Mark and Christian LeMorta.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cannon Funeral Home (2020 Central Ave, Albany, NY 12205). A Mass was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Luke's Church (1235 State St, Schenectady, NY 12304).
