He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcus Zimmer and Leta Becker Zimmer; his wife Elaine Zimmer; and his sister Alice Wilty. He is survived by: his children, Douglas Zimmer of Costa Mesa, CA and Charlotte Palmeri (Frank) of Guilderland. He is also survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals (343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, NY 12205). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
