He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Jewell and Edna Van Neel Jewell; his wife Esther Felker; his children, Frederick Jewell, Sandra K. Jewell and Kathleen Hunt (Skip Wenban); and his siblings, Patricia Hickey, Sally May Jewell, Robert G. Jewell and Vincent J. Jewell.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Jewell (Sue) of Thurston, Timothy Jewell (Maggie), Judy Putman (Edward) of Thurston and Tammy Humphrey (Richard) of Campbell; and his foster daughters, Cheryl Brunkhorst (Paul) and Diane Brew (Thomas) of Corning. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
