She was predeceased by: her husband Conrad Lajoie; her son Denis (Carole); her siblings, Clifford 'Bunny' Lafave, Francis Lafave, Fred Lafave, Mary Leroux, Stella Lafave and Ida MacDonald; and her parents, John Lafave and Rose Anne Lafave.
She is survived by: her children, Collette Dumont (Norman) of Alexandria, Gilles Lajoie (Odette) of Alexandria, Monique Lajoie (Claude) of Alexandria, Marcel Lajoie (Debbie) of Alexandria, Diane Bellefeuille (Ron) of Cornwall, Noel Lajoie of Cornwall, Louise Marleau (late Maurice) of Cornwall, Pete Bissonette of Cornwall and Alain Lajoie of Toronto; and her brother Neil Lafave (Helene) of Kemptville. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, 3 great great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
