He is survived by: his brother Bucky; his wife Helga; his children, Mary, Erich (Binhua) and Regina; his grandchildren, Jared (Shelley), Rachel and Jonathan; his great grandchildren, Landan and Ciara; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Nicole and Glen.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Cortland SPCA, 879 McLean Rd, Cortland NY, 13045 because of his love of dogs.
