He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold A. Moshier and Mildred Moshier (Moser); his son-in-law Steven Hoxie, Jr.; his sister Joyce Zehr; his brother-in-law Edward Lyndaker; and his aunts and uncles, Harvey, Adah Gingerich, Erwin, Esther Moshier, Donald and Arletha Moser.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa A. Tuttle; his children, Tracy Walseman (Jon), Corey Moshier (Jerilyn), Erika Ellis (Bryant) of San Antonio, TX and Jana Hoxie; his grandchildren, Megan, Andrew, Derek and Logan Walseman; his children, Ethan, Natalie, Grant, Nolan, Makenna Moshier, Tristan, Ayden Ellis, Noah, Gia, Jade and Myla Hoxie; his stepchildren, Kristi Woolsey, Erica Brown and Kyle Fenton; his sister Marilyn Lyndaker; his aunt Claire Moser; and his brother-in-law James Zehr. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Croghan Mennonite Church (7048 Kirschnerville Rd, Croghan, NY 13327).
Memorials may be made in Duane's name to Croghan Fire Department.
