We bid farewell to Joan Coffey (Croton on Hudson, New York), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 21, 2025 at the age of 75. Joan touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid Joan farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Joan is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She is survived by: her husband Harold Coffey (August); and her children, Jennifer, David and Peter. She is also survived by two daughters-in-law and one son-in-law into her family.
A wake was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Edward F. Carter Funeral Home (41 Grand St, Croton-On-Hudson, NY 10520). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mary Church (114 Grand St, Croton-On-Hudson, NY 10520).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ASPCA, Feeding Westchester, and St. Judes.
