He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Gowdy and Thelma Hale Gowdy; and his sister Sarah Gowdy. He is survived by: his wife Bambi Allshouse; his sons, David W. Gowdy, Jr. (Shannon) of Scio, Casey Cronk of Olean and Codey Cronk (Amanda) of Angelica; his grandsons, Adam and Austin Gowdy; and his siblings, Duane Gowdy of Little Genesee and Debbie Witherell of Limestone. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
