It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas E. Travis of Cuba, New York, born in Olean, New York, who passed away on October 26, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Travis and Alveretta Lewis Travis; and his brother James Travis. He is survived by: his children, Douglas E. Travis, Jr. (Maggie), William M. "Bill" Travis (Alvey Baker), Ronald J. Travis, Tracy L. Witt of San Diego, CA and Wesley Travis; his stepdaughter Heidi L. Woodard; and his sister Nancy Melcher (Al).
