He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Austin and Margaret Clark Austin; his wife Marjorie Sheehan; his son Philip J. Austin; his brother Gaylord Austin; and his son-in-law John O. Culbert.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathleen Brown (Claude) of Carol Stream, IL, Sue Culbert of Cuba and Jill Kriz (Thomas) of Venetia, PA; his daughter-in-law Brenda Austin of Cuba; his grandchildren, Jacob, Nathan, John-O, Cassie, Bridget, Chad, Colleen, Blair and Margaret; and his great grandchildren, Sophia, Anthony, Carly, Liam and Evelyn.
