He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald L. Shelley and Mouvreen Childs Shelley; his spouse Onalee C. Cummins; his brother Donald C. Shelley; and his son-in-law Robert L. "Bob" Ivey.
He is survived by: his children, Lindsey Shelley (Mereda) of Randolph, Lynn M. Ivey of Olean, Lori Mann (Guy) of Cuba and Lisa Ackley (Steve) of Laurinburg, NC; his sisters, June O'Dell of Lakeworth, FL and Aletha Stearns of Canisteo; his friend Joan A. Kottwitz of Cuba; and his pet Lacey.
In lieu of flowers, memorial suggestions include the Brain Aneurysm Foundation or to the American Cancer Society.
