It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond G. Shawl (Cuba, New York), born in Wellsville, New York, who passed away on February 19, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Shawl and Genevieve Simons Shawl; and his brother William Shawl. He is survived by: his wife Ruth A. Waters; his children, Michael Shawl (Ellen) of Friendship and Heidi Pockey (John) of Black Creek; his grandchildren, Anthony Shawl (Erin), Katie "Bug" Morris (Derek) and Thomas Galatio; his great grandchildren, Austyn, Tanner, Bailey and Eileigh; his sister Alice Hurd (Harry) of Cuba; his uncle Michael Simons of Belvedere; and his sister-in-law Sandra Shawl of Cuba. He is also survived by one niece; one nephew; and several cousins.
