He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Powell and Dorothy Dennis Powell; his wife Rose M. St. Clair; his granddaughter Brandy Lounsbury; and his siblings, Arlene, Velma, Charlotte, Ida, Joyce, Onalee, Pearl and Ernestine.
He is survived by: his daughters, Robin Kelly (Jon) of Scio, Becky Reisman of Olean, Cindy West of Portville, Jean Wagner (Walt) of Salamanca, Roberta Youmans of Belmont and Rhonda Herbert (Jeff) of Olean; and his sister Barbara Woodin of North Carolina. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
