He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Monroe and Alice Puhl Monroe; his sister Bernice Ferrington (Marlyn); his nephew Richard Ferrington (Dick); his grandson Joseph Veno; and his great grandchild Isabella Glenn.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Skiver Mazza; his children, Bradley S. Monroe (Carla) of Olean, Christina Monroe (Ron Gay) of Penn Yan, Susan L. Robinson (Larry Prunoske) of Geneva and Michael S. Monroe (Wendy) of Bradford, PA; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Amanda, Jeffrey, Cory, Colton, Jamie and Andrew; and his nieces, Rhea Childs (Jim) and Terry Ferryington. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
