He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Mettler and Emily Wright Mettler of Little Valley, NY.; his wives, Betty Baase Mettler and Sally Johnson Mettler; his siblings, Raymond Mettler and Lillian Mettler; and his granddaughter Stephanie Buelow.
He is survived by: his children, Katrina Mettler of Salamanca, NY, Jeremy Mettler (Suzanne) of Jamestown, NY, DaniSue Buelow of Little Valley, NY and Jonathan Horvath of South Dayton, NY.; and his siblings, Kenneth Mettler (Donna) of Middlebury Center, PA and Marlene Butcher of Randolph, NY. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
