He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter L. Hibbard, and Wilba Thompson Hibbard, Sr.; his wife Ida G. Appleton; and his children, Stephen V. Hibbard (Gretta) of Wayne, Walter D. Hibbard (Jennifer) of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Patricia Hibbard of Cuba.
