William Ira Towne Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 6, 2018, at the age of 83, William Ira Towne (Degrasse, New York), born in Russell, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Melford; and his siblings, Barry Towne, Gwendolyn Harper and Barbara Pike. He is survived by: his parent Lida (Tousley); his wife Shirley of DeGrasse; his son Martin Towne of Florida; his daughter-in-law Jane Towne of Florida; his siblings, Richard, John, Douglas, Donald Towne, Gouverneur, Elizabeth "Betty" Reynolds, Patricia Cameron, June Briggs, Oswegatchie Trail and Bonnie Stubbs; and his grandchildren, Randy Towne and Kassie Wiggins. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
