With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sue V. Houghtaling-Smith of Delhi, New York, born in Newburgh, New York, who passed away on September 29, 2020 at the age of 75. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Houghtaling and Eleanor Houghtaling (VanBuren). She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Smith; her sister Carol Brinkerhoff (Jim); her stepdaughter Sara Smith; her stepgrandchildren, Michael, Matthew Pelton, Steven VanDunk Jr. and Shilah Smith; her sibling's children, Zoe Wells, Laura Young and Derek Brinkerhoff; and her cousins, Marty, Florence Sue, Kathleen, Lois and Dr. Richard Craft. She is also survived by four great-nieces and nephews.
Social distancing guidelines set forth by the New York State Department of Health will be in place; masks must be worn at all times.
