He was predeceased by : his parents, Georgianna Bird Murray and Kenneth A. Fisher; and his wife Sharon Van Hensbergen. He is survived by : his sons, David Fisher, Matthew Fisher (Zoe McKee) and Jonathan Fisher (Annie); his grandchildren, Abby, Zachary, Austin, Emelia, Mason and Cedric; his sisters, Leona Bonacci, Georgia Yoemans and Starr Adriance; and his friend Carol Ann Rose Gagner.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in his honor be made to community hospice http://www.givetocommunityhospice.org.
