He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Talmon-Murphy; his children, Tina America (William), Richard Talmon, Rosanne Schrock (Lawrence), Kristin Cervi (Daniel) and Timothy Talmon; and his girlfriend Kathleen Bauman. He was also cherished by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
