It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy Gonyea of Dickinson Center, New York, born in Saint Regis Falls, New York, who passed away on March 30, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her children, Bonnie Patraw, Karen Patraw, Terry Patraw and Randy Patraw; her stepsons, Gerald Gonyea and Steven Gonyea; her sister Della Mushtare; and her grandson Scott Derkevics.
She is survived by: her children, Larry (Bonnie Patraw), Gary (Sharron Patraw), Connie (Terry Dashno), Donna Patraw (Bruce Ploof) and Penny (Peter Derkevics); her stepchildren, Anne Gilbert, Linda Jackson, Debr, Wayne Johnson, Sue, Gary Bertram, Mary Connors and Theresa Ferero; and her brother Harold Mushtare. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to Trinity United Methodist Church in St. Regis Falls.
