He was predeceased by: his parents, John Eugene Platt and Dorothy Caroline Rodenbeck Platt; and his brother Grant. He is survived by: his wife Linda Jo; his children, Jennifer Ostrosky (Dan) and Jonathan Platt (Kasia); his grandchildren, Harrison, Jocelyn Ostrosky, Miranda and Selina Platt; his brothers, Mark Platt (Angela) and Jay Platt (Marilyn); his sisters-in-law, Alice W. Platt, Suzanne Krutz (Ray) and Ginette Tascarella; and his nieces and nephews, Jeremy, Owen Platt, Andrew, Amanda Platt, Michael Hixson, Rebecca Mitchell and Jaclyn Hall.
