She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Anian Bacher and Katharina Bacher; her husband Jim Stinard; her children, Melanie, Andrew and Patrick; and her siblings, Maria and Alois. She was also cherished by nephews and nieces.
Kathy was also very instrumental in setting up and implementing a relief program, called the International Relief Friendship Foundation, IRFF. in Ghana.
