She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Joseph Fleis and Anna Karner; her husband John L. Fava; her brother Joseph Fleis, Jr. (Lillian); her sisters-in-law, Catherine Fava and Gloria Fava Gosselin; her niece Jeanne Wilhoite Gosselin; her brother-in-law Gerald Gosselin; her nieces and nephews, Carol, Kevin McCarroll, Kenneth Lemner, Linda, Vincent Sheehan, Robert, Joan Gosselin and Glenn Wilhoite; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Kathleen, Stanley Stellakis, Kevin McCarroll, Colleen Gosselin, Patrick Gosselin and Brandy James; her pets, Siamese, Vanilla and Lucky; and also, Evangelia Stellakis and Jacob Stellakis.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home (64 Ashford Ave, Dobbs Ferry, NY 10522). A Mass was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church (535 Ashford Ave, Ardsley, NY 10502).
