She was predeceased by : her parents, George Slingerland and Virginia Slingerland; her husband Raymond P Legere; and her sons, Gregory P Legere and Lawrence D Legere.

She is survived by : her children, Maureen VanDyck (Louis) of New Castle, Margaret Miles (William) of Chesapeake, Virginia, Barbara Conwall (John) of Fonda and Thomas D Legere of Duanesburg. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Contributions can be made in her memory to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Albany.
