With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mathew Perry Jr. (Dundee, New York), born in Tyrone, New York, who passed away on December 26, 2018 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mathew Sr and Bessie Scott Perry Sr.; his spouse Betty J. McGovern; his sons, Steven D. Perry (Tammy) of Barrington, N. Y., Ronald A. Perry of Dundee and Douglas R. Perry (Lori Paczewski) of Schwenksville; his stepchildren, Tammy L. Via (James) of Nottingham, Richard J. Welsh (Lynn) and Jeffrey R. Welsh; and his siblings, Mary Stanley of Downey, Julia Fultz (Bill) of Dundee, Clifford, David, John Perry, Dorothy House, Joyce Epperson and Barb Saucier. He was also cherished by 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Dundee Fire Company, 12 Union St.; or to the Dundee United Methodist Church, 35 Water Street, Dundee, NY 14837.
