It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gail F. Steward (East Amherst, New York), who passed away on October 28, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Carlton Steward; her son Todd; and her sister Karen Gregg. She is survived by: her children, Pamela Fischer (Brian), Michele Steward, Emily Connor (Adam) and Sean Steward; her grandchildren, Kelsey Sobczak (David), Alisha Leif, Mason, Lincoln and Cooper Connor; her great grandchildren, Dahlia and Finn Sobczak; and her siblings, Gary, Howard, Carol, John, Richard Pope and Sharon Kilburn. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Dietrich Funeral Home Inc. (2480 Kensington Ave, Amherst, NY 14226). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
