Berthold Schauer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 30, 2020, at the age of 98, Berthold Schauer of East Fishkill, New York, born in Manhasset, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Berthold Schauer and Elsie Schauer (Allen); his wife Anita Swim; his grandchildren, Justin (Lydia Poole) and Heather (Steve Goldfarb); his great grandchildren, Josephine, Evan, Isabella and Mason; and his siblings, Ruth, Dorothy "Dot" and Roy. He was also cherished by his wife of 74 years, he is also survived by his daughters.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans or Wounded Warrior Project.
