It is with great sadness that we announce the death of America Cardazzi of East Greenbush, New York, who passed away on October 8, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincenzo Fiacco and Lucia Fiacco; her husband Sebastiano Cardazzi; and her siblings, Valentino, Flora and Severina.
She is survived by: her children, Giovanni, Vincent (Ann Beth), MaryJane (Michael) and Anthony; her grandchildren, Michael (Antonella), Anthony (Sarah), Marisa America (Thomas), Tiffany, Gianna, Sophia and Krystal; and her great grandchildren, Francesca America, Michael and Aubriella.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John the Evangelist and St. Joseph's Church (54 Herrick St, Rensselaer, NY 12144). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. John the Evangelist and St. Joseph Church (54 Herrick St, Rensselaer, NY 12144). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 1:15 PM to 1:45 PM at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Donations may be made in America's memory to the St. Anthony Society at the church.
