She was predeceased by: her sister Marjorie James; and her parents, George House and Mildred House. She is survived by: her husband James B Macris; her children, Amy Macris (Steve Shannon) and Jim Macris (Angela Lanci-Macris); and her granddaughter Hannah DeWeerd.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hope Lutheran Church (470 Winter Street Extension, Troy, NY 12180).
