He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Gurdial Singh Chahal and Kartar Kaur Chahal; and his siblings, Krishna Kaur (S. Rajpal), Juginder Kaur (Jagdish), Surindermohan Kaur (Kimthi) and Bhupinder Gill (Surinder).
He is survived by: his spouse Pushpinder Chahal; his children, Daljit Chahal and Harinderpal Chahal (Tlhomamiso); his grandchild Priya Chahal; and his siblings, Manmohan Chahal (Balbir), Iqbal Chahal (Komal) and Surinder Chahal (Harpreet). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc. (565 4th Ave, Troy, NY 12182). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Gardner Earl Memorial Chapel in Oakwood Cemetery (186 Oakwood Ave, Troy, NY 12182).
