With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry Daraio of East New York, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 14, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Maria and Innocenzo; his siblings, Anthony and Frankie; his children, Regina, Elizabeth, Richard and Bernadette; his children-in-law, Pete, John, Kathy and Luke; his grandchildren, Danielle, Sara (Tyler), Joe (Samatha), Clare, Katie (Nick) and Stephanie; and his great grandchildren, Roman and Marigold.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Cassidy Funeral Home, Inc. (156 Willis Ave, Mineola, NY 11501). A Mass will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Corpus Christi Church (155 Garfield Ave, Mineola, NY 11501). A burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Holy Rood Cemetery (111 Old Country Rd, Westbury, NY 11590).
