With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene A. Roemer of East Northport, New York, who passed away on July 13, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Gene departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Gene. Though Gene may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Phyllis; his children, Kristin Roseo (Rich) of Syosset and Keith Roemer (late Delma) of Commack; his grandchildren, Vincent, Nicolas Roseo, April and Nicole Roemer; and his father Mark Nolan.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Nolan Funeral Home, Inc. (5 Laurel Ave, Northport, NY 11768). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A prayer was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 7:15 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A procession was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
