He was predeceased by : his parents, John and Mildred; and his brother Richard. He is survived by : his wife Linda; his children, Molly Valentine, Kelly Scumaci (Richard Bottom II) and John James Scumaci; his grandsons, Everett Valentine, Jonathan and Anthony Bottom; and his siblings, Marion Adams (William) and David Scumaci (Suzanne). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
