He was predeceased by : his wife Beverly. He is survived by : his children, Tom "Chopper" (Jackie Lane) and Kimberly Bergen (Howard); his grandchildren, Jake and Ava Bergen; his brother Michael P. Burns; his brothers-in-law, Donald (Nancy) and Dennis Verni; his cousin Teddy Wurtenberg (Paul); his nieces and nephews, Gina, Olivia, Joey Verni and Austin McMinn; and his pet Finny.
