He was predeceased by : his wife Yolanda; and his son Irl. He is survived by : his children, Darlene (Neil), Tina, Pamela (Horace) and Randy (Debbie); and his sister Muriel Young. He is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Irl enjoyed playing cards with his friends at Chittenango Parks and Recreation and watching westerns and up until the pandemic hit, he could be seen riding his wheelchair through the neighborhood.
