He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldred Matthews and Anna Matthews (Daucher); and his brother Michael. He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Matthews of Liverpool; and his siblings, Robert Matthews of Liverpool, Edward Matthews (Lauri) of Wellesley Island, Jan Schmick of Liverpool, Elaine Reynolds of Eastwood and Lorraine Palmisano (Alex) of Liverpool. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Maurer Funeral Home, Inc. (300 2nd St, Liverpool, NY 13088). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
