He was predeceased by: his parents, Gunther Schenkenberger and Clara Schenkenberger. He is survived by: his wife Jane Ann; his children, Linda Besanson (Lewis Salzman), Michael (Eileen), Thomas (Deborah Lisandrelli) and Kurt Schenkenberger (Janet); his grandchildren, Nick, Joe, Sarah Schenkenberger, Christopher Matteson, Meghan Graham and Richard Besanson; and his great grandchildren, Peyton Mariono, Campbell Matteson, Alyvia Besanson, Colin, Benjamin and Caroline Graham. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
