John James Dunleavy Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John James Dunleavy of Eastchester, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 3, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Dunleavy and Winifred Dunleavy; his brother Patrick; and his brother-in-law James P. Doody. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo (Doody); his sons, John Patrick (Bridget), Brian Martin (Elizabeth) and Neil Christopher (Annemarie); his grandchildren, Owen, Ryan, Claire, Christopher, Thomas, Nell, Evelyn, Eleanor and William; his brother Owen; and his sisters-in-law, Kathleen Doody and Linda Dillard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
