He is survived by: his children, Nancy Spencer (Ed), Kimberly Oman (Carl) and Joseph Jr.; his granddaughters, Nicole Marlowe (Andy Chambers), Kaitlyn Spencer and Emma Youngman; his great grandchildren, Charlotte Chambers and Adam Chambers; his sisters, Ann Marie Hotaling and Connie Goodwin; his friend Gene Clark; and his child Sandra Marlowe of West Virginia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
