“My sympathies to the Northrup family. Edna and Bill served a positive influence on me and countless others. I can't picture my lifelong interest in skiing without their role in establishing Holliday Valley where I first met them in 1958. Bill graciously encouraged my interest in dentistry with a visit to his office in 1970 and an interview recommendation with a friend of his at UB School of Dental Medicine. Edna inspired a lifetime appreciation for outdoor life in everyone who knew her.”
