Mary E. Witter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 25, 2025, at the age of 85, Mary E. Witter (Ellisburg, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Mary departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Mary. Though Mary may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Witter and Florence Witter (Gowdy); her child Kelley Witter; and her brothers, Frederick, Roger and Jerome Witter.
She is survived by: her siblings, Donald and Donna Knowles; and her friend Inez Ponzo. She is also survived by sister in law Jan Witter, 10 nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ellisburg Fire Hall (11901 NY-193, Ellisburg, NY 13636).
