With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julius Dodson (Elmira Heights, New York), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 30, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Dodson and Mary Dodson; his siblings, Joseph, John Dodson, Mary Thomas and Rosetta Poteat; and his children, Jon-Marc Dodson and Victoria Dodson.

He is survived by : his wife Barbara Jean Dodson; his children, Craig Dixon, Julius Dodson Jr., David Dodson (Kristin), Jacquelyn Dodson and Robyn Johnson; his great grandchildren, Sade', Aurora, Cassidy, Nerissa, Josiah, Aneisa, David Jr., Naquay, Shawntiara, Tre, Destiny, Craig Jr., De'shon, Allen, James, Fred, Serena, Julius III and Logan; and his brother William Dodson Jr. (Norma). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.
