We are sad to announce that on April 8, 2024, at the age of 84, Douglas G. Bauman of Elmira, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl F. Bauman and Josephine Bauman (Sullivan); his siblings, Carl Jr., Rose (Theresa), Francis, Frank, Beverly, Lena and Phyllis; his in-laws, Ruth Burns, Tom Burns Jr., Carl Burns, Ed Winnie and Genevieve Cooper (Ruthie); and his children-in-law, Warren Schuyler and Alice Bauman.

He is survived by : his wife Eleanor; his siblings, Duane and Diane Baker; his in-laws, Jim Burns (Barbara), Rachel Stethers (Fran), Elva Little, Bill Burns (Pam) and Eugene Burns (Gloria); and his children, Douglas Jr., Kevin, Cynthia Schuyler, Karen Hanville (Rexford), Josephine Gublo (David), Veronica Hart (Thomas) and Shelly. He is also survived by Several nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home (1004 Lake St, Elmira, NY 14901).
