Banks of Elmira, New York, born in Bessemer, Alabama, who passed away on June 6, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ulysses Banks and Floretta Banks (Butler); and his brothers, U. D. Banks (Bunkey) and Julius Banks. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Banks (Jeanie); and his children, Wayne Hicks, Dwayne Conkright of Elmira, Felicia Frazier of Elmira, Samantha Conkright and Lawrence Baxter (PJ) of Elmira. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
