She was predeceased by: her parents, James Riffe and Virginia Riffe (McConnell); and her sisters, Joann Powers (Mike) and Virginia Lynch (Tim). She is survived by: her husband Joe; her children, Joe Gizzi (Kathleen) of Johns Creek, GA, Karen Baker (Chris) of Burdett, NY and Daniel Gizzi (Stacy Garrity) of Athens, PA; and her grandchildren, Shane (Kaitlyn), Michael, Hannah, Ethan and Jacob. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McInerny Funeral Home (502 W Water St, Elmira, NY 14905). A prayer will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 9:15 AM to 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (224 Franklin St, Elmira, NY 14904).
